DR. RODGERS: How can nursing research help unlock health for all?
Hi, I’m Dr. Griffin Rodgers, a director at the NIH.
Not everyone has the same opportunities and resources to achieve and maintain health. That’s why the National Institute of Nursing Research, or NINR, is working on problems that stand in the way of achieving health equity.
My colleague, Dr. Shannon Zenk, the director of the National Institute of Nursing Research explains.
DR. ZENK: Our research explores new ways to ensure that every person has a fair and just opportunity to attain their full health potential.
At NINR, our researchers bring a range of backgrounds, experiences, and points of view. And we include diverse groups and make study design, participation, and findings accessible to all.
We are committed to finding solutions that help everyone achieve better health and wellness.
