Oberlin College math professor and award-winning artist Bob Bosch has been fusing his interests in mathematics and the visual arts for more than twenty years. In this talk, Bob interlaces math, art, and philosophy to explain how and why he uses integer programming and other mathematical optimization techniques to create domino portraits, continuous-line drawings, and what he conjectures to be the world's most computationally-intensive visual puns.

Much of Bob's art can be viewed at http://dominoartwork.com/.
