Welcome to every new and old Qwazy that stumbled across this video! Whether you've been a longtime watcher or a recent subscriber, I just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU for being part of this community.
Most of you may not realize that I've been a content creator on YouTube for YEARS. How many years you may ask? Well, technically my first upload to the channel was 8 years ago, which is insane to say (Or type, lol). So, what have I been doing on YouTube for the last 8 years?
That in itself is a complicated question, but I can summarize by saying, "discovering myself". You see, I actually started off as a Let's Player of sorts, inspired by the likes of Pewdiepie, Rooster Teeth, and many more. From there, I decided to try my hand with commentary or talking head style videos like Philip Defranco. I tried to move my niche in the direction of my watching patterns as I grew as an adult; however, nothing ever felt right... Except for technology content.
Peppered throughout my channel growth and personal content discovery, I would throw little nuggets of tech onto the channel here and there, and for some reason, they always did better than the content I was trying to make popular. Why is this you may ask? Simply put, I believe it was because my passion was always in and around the technology field. For the last almost 20 years, I have been professionally involved in technology as a career. Whether it was senior-level repair, sales, marketing, product testing, or a combination of them all at the same time, I have always thrived in the industry due to my personal passion.
When making technology-based content, whether it be a review, overview, unboxing, news coverage, recommendation video, or otherwise, something just clicks on... I become more of myself on camera than any other person I have tried to become on YouTube, and I think that comes directly through the lens and into your viewing experiences, making them better, more engaging, and easier to interact with on a personal level.
