The Tower of Babel💯 |
Noah’s sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, had many children and grandchildren. One of their descendants was a man named Nimrod. Nimrod was a great hunter and the first ruler. He built his kingdom in Babylon.
The people of Babylon thought they were stronger together. They decided to build a tall tower that would reach the sky. They believed this would keep them united and make them famous. They worked hard to build the tower.
But God saw what they were doing and knew they were not following His command to spread out across the earth. To stop them, He made them speak different languages. Suddenly, they couldn’t understand each other. The work on the tower stopped, and the people moved to different parts of the world. The tower was called the Tower of Babel, which means confusion.
