Noah’s Vineyard and the Curse💯 |
After the big flood, Noah and his family started their new life. Noah planted a vineyard, and soon, the grapes grew well. He made wine from the grapes. One evening, Noah drank some wine and got drunk. He went into his tent and fell asleep on the floor without any clothes on.
His youngest son, Ham, saw him lying there. Ham went to tell his brothers, Shem and Japheth, what he had seen. Shem and Japheth took a coat and walked backwards into the tent to cover their father without looking at him.
When Noah woke up and found out what happened, he was very upset. He learned that Ham had seen him and told his brothers. Noah cursed Ham’s descendants, saying they would serve the families of Shem and Japheth. But he blessed Shem and Japheth for their respect. This event changed the future of Noah’s family.
