In this video we're gonna dive into the style of the upcomming minimal tech house artist Chris Stussy. For the last few years, he's pioneering the tech house wave with his groovy drums, minimal synths and deep basses. His style is also includes smooth vocals. He's known for songs as Chris Stussy – All Night Long, Chris Stussy – Evening Dive and Chris Stussy – Sense Of Future.
We'll be starting off with the minimal tech house vocal. We'll build the track around the vocal. Then we're gonna write the bassline with the vocal. We'll be using a bass preset from Serum. Then we're gonna into the groovy tech house drums stacked with some groovy percussion loops. We'll be building the drums from scratch. To add some more spice to the drop, we're gonna add a few stab and lead presets from serum to the track.
I'll show you how to create a minimal tech house drop like Chris Stussy does in FL Studio from scratch. The FLP project file is available at my patreon as well.
