You can't completely turn comments off on an existing Facebook post, but you can restrict who can comment. Here's how:
1. Go to the Facebook post where you want to limit comments.
2. Click the three dots in the top right corner of the post.
3. Select "Who can comment on your post?"
4. Choose who you want to allow to comment:
Public: Anyone can comment (not recommended if you want to limit comments).
Friends: Only your friends can comment.
Profiles and Pages you mentioned: Only people or pages you specifically mention in the post can comment.
This last option is the closest you can get to turning off comments entirely. By choosing "Profiles and Pages you mentioned," you prevent anyone who isn't mentioned from leaving a comment.
