To permanently delete your Instagram account, open the Instagram app. Tap the profile icon at the bottom right corner, then tap the three lines icon (Menu) at the top right corner. Next, tap "Settings". Scroll down and tap "Help Center". Tap on "Managing Your Account". Tap "Delete Your Account". Tap "How do I delete my account". Scroll down and tap "the Delete Your Account page" link. Enter your "username" and "password", then tap "Log in". Choose the reason for deleting your account. Enter your password once more. Finally, tap "Permanently delete my account", Then tap "OK".
