Important Note: This tutorial still working fine but only with public videos. So, if you want to download public videos from Facebook you just need to follow this step.
Once you copy the video URL in step 2, logout of Facebook or just go to your browser, open a new incognito window in Google Chrome or New Private Window in Mozilla Firefox, then paste the copied URL in the address bar and press "Enter" on your keyboard or "Paste and go" ► follow the rest of steps.

Are you wondering how to download Facebook videos in HD? As you know, there is no direct option or feature to download videos off Facebook. So, what we can do to download our favorites videos from Facebook in their original quality?
Well, I have showed you before in a previous post and in some YouTube tutorials how to download a Facebook video using only the mobile version of Facebook, but really the downloaded quality isn't as good as the original one. That's why in this tutorial I will share with you an other workaround that will let you download and save FB videos in HD quality without the need of installing any third party software or any tool.
How to Download Facebook Videos in HD:
Step 1: Find the video you want to download, then right-click on it and select the third option "Show video URL".
Step 2: Copy the video URL, then go to your browser, open a new tab, paste the video URL in the address bar and press "Enter" on your keyboard.
Step 3: Now, right-click anywhere on the page and select "View page source".
Step 4: Hold down "CTRL+F" on your keyboard to bring up the search box, then type in hd_src:
Step 5: Highlight the video link that follows hd_src: , then right-click on it and select "Go to..." (in Google chrome), in Mozilla Firefox, right-click on it and select "Open Link in New Tab" or "Open Link". Make sure to highlight only the link between the quotes.
Step 6: While the video is playing, right-click on it and select "Save video as..."
Step 7: Finally, rename it if you want, then choose where you would like to save it and press the "Save" button.
