Overhaul of the BETONIQ Expert System (18-07-2024)
Recently we improved the BETONIQ full parametric design system for affordable mass housing in Sub Saharan Africa. The following has been realized:
The entire variable system was restructured. We added electricity and water tubes and sewage pipes to the design and costing system. Doors and windows are now modular and we added the feet for hinges and locks. We also added insect screens and curtain rails. The sunscreen is improved and improved positioning related to the rebar and added more rebar cuts where needed. Finally we created the possibility to make all different materials and objects separately visible using a extensive list of "show-toggles" in the global variables setup.
This all means we are now ready to turn this most efficient method for affordable mass housing in Sub Saharan Africa, into reality.
