This is simply a laptop inside, so changing the RAM is easy. I used Crucial CT51264BF160B to upgrade mine and it worked fine. According to QNAP website this is pretty much the same process as the 2 bay and 4 bay versions.
Upgrading the NAS, will let me do much more with it. Let me know what you want me to do with it in the comments!
