INGREDIENTS
2 red apples We used red delicious
1 can cinnamon roll dough
non-stick cooking spray
2 tbsp lemon juice
4 tbsp unsalted butter melted
4 tbsp brown sugar
powered sugar for serving

INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 F. Set aside a round baking dish, spray with non-stick cooking spray.
Open the can of cinnamon rolls and unwind a piece and place it at the center of the baking dish. Add more according to the video.
Slice each apple in half lengthwise, and then remove the core and seeds. Slice the apple halves lengthwise to 1/8-inch thick pieces.
Place the apple slices into a large bowl. Add lemon juice and toss well. In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar with melted butter. Add the mixture to the apple slices. Gently stir to coat.
Microwave for about 2 minutes or until the apple slices are pliable. Strain apples slices and discard liquid.
Arrange about 8 apple slices in a straight row, with each slice overlapping one another. Starting with one end, gently roll apples. Add more slices to have a bigger rose. Transfer rolled apples into the middle of the cinnamon roll.
Add apple slices into the unwound cinnamon rolls, creating a spiral shape according to the video.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until cinnamon roll dough starts to brown.
Remove from oven. Dust with powered sugar. Serve and enjoy!
