The U.S. Navy's four decommissioned nuclear submarines entered drydock for deactivation and recycling at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, Washington in 1999.
The four nuclear submarines are USS James K. Polk (SSBN-645/SSN-645), USS Pogy (SSN-647), USS Trepang (SSN-674) and USS Billfish (SSN-676).
