8000 IIT graduates are yet to find a job as per recent media reports. At IIT Mumbai the lowest salary package offered this year was Rs 4 lakh per annum, down from Rs 6 lakh last year, with 10 students accepting offers within this range. For IIM grads, who land jobs at multinational corporations and India’s top domestic firms, the unchanged payouts sober down expectations.
