What was the first laptop you coded on?
In some classes you might need to download apps like an IDE. IDEs are really cool, and it’s where you can write your code, run it, and more! Some examples include Android Studio and Visual Studio Code. So it’s important to make sure there’s some space to download whatever you need for that class!
Some of the downsides of my MacBook Air was the screen was small, and when looking at code, it’s sometimes easier to see what’s going on a bigger screen! Also, the space on that laptop was I want to say 8GB so I stayed deleting apps so I could make more room!
Definitely get other people's advice as well and feel free to ask people at your computer science department, Bootcamp leads, etc!!
