Timelapses of Earth
Giving a second life to footage I wouldn't otherwise use. This is what some parts of planet Earth looked like in 2019. All captured with Canon 80D.
In January 2019 my girlfriend and I begun our backpacking trip. We started with Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and the United Kingdom, before leaving for Southeast Asia where we visited Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and Cambodia. Later that year we had to stop the trip early and return to Europe, where we continued travelling through Bulgaria and Morocco, with brief stops in Spain and Poland.
Over that year, I've continuously been tempted to leave my 80D recording for some time to capture time-lapses during our travel. From peaks of volcanoes, through road trips across countries, to countless sunsets - the beauty of travel sometimes comes out only when we look at it from a distance. Somehow these timelapses do a great job at documenting what our eyes couldn't see.
