Video Transcript:
The default web browser in any fresh install of Windows 10 is Microsoft Edge. Thankfully, if you're not a fan of Microsoft's Edge browser, or the new Edge Chromium web browser, Microsoft makes it easy to change your default web browser. So if you'd prefer to make your default browser Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera or anything else, you can do so in a few quick clicks.

Now let's walk through the steps to change your default web browser in Windows 10.

Step 1. Click the "Windows" icon on your taskbar to open a menu, and then type "Default Apps." You'll see Default Apps in the list of search results.

Step 2. Click "Default Apps" in the list of search results. The Default Apps screen opens.

Step 3. Click the option currently associated with Web Browser. The Choose An App menu appears, displaying a list of web browsers installed on your Windows 10 computer.

Step 4. Click the web browser you want to set as your default web browser. In this example, I'll choose Google Chrome. You'll now see your selected web browser displayed as your default browser. Going forward, whenever you click any links that will open a web browser on your computer, those links will open in your default web browser.
