Recipe:
-360ml rice (short grain rice)
-400ml water
-optional: dashi no moto
-salt
-1 chicken breast
-3 mushrooms
-1 paprika
-1/2 carrot
-1/2 tofu
-2 tbsp soy sauce
-2 tbsp sake
-2 tbsp mirin
-green onion
-sesame
Cut the chicken into bite size pieces. Cut vegetables thinly. Wash rice, rinse 3-4 times or until the water becomes clear. Let the rice soak in water for 30 minutes.
Add the rice and your water into the rice cooker. Add salt, soy sauce, sake and mirin. Add the chicken evenly distributed over the rice. Do not mix the rice with ingredients. Add your vegetables and other soft ingredients on the top of the chicken.
Set rice cooker to mixed rice mode. When the rice is done cooking, gently mix the rice with vegetables. Serve with some sesame and green onions.
