It's no secret AMD's Radeon 7000 series GPU's have struggled with playing VR games since their launch in December of 2022. Since that time there have been a lot of updates to their Adrenalin drivers and Meta/Oculus have also updated their software, so the question is how does the latest entry into the Radeon 7000 family, the RX 7800XT, fair in VR in November of 2023? Does it suck? Or does it slay? In this video I test the PowerColor Radeon RX 7800XT Red Devil 16GB to see how it performs in 12 different VR games, and briefly talk about how it compares with Nvidia's offerings in the same price category, the RTX 4070 12GB and RTX 4060ti 16GB. So is the RX 7800XT worth buying for VR? Well, hopefully this video will help.
