Robust Testing Strategies for TYPO3 Projects
"My client doesn't pay me for writing tests" is probably the number one exc…explanation for not having any tests. In this talk, Andreas will show how to create tests in a way that they actually save you time instead of blowing up your budgets.
The talk will cover both existing and new code, in a variety of typical situations in TYPO3 projects, and answer questions like: How do I ensure this form actually ends up in my client's CRM? How do I test if my DataHandler hook behaves the way I want it to? How do I design my components for testability?
The talk will also cover the broader TYPO3 tests tooling and how we as a community can improve it for the whole ecosystem.
