In Insadong (Seoul) there is currently a multimedia exhibition called "Curious 12 Tales" until July 2022. Various legends, folktales, fairy tales and myths are explained there and you can immerse yourself in the world of the Guardian Spirits in a very interactive way. The exhibition not only has incredibly beautiful Instagrammable sceneries, but also valuable information for people who, like me, want to dive deeper into the understanding of Korean culture.
Since it's minus 12 degrees Celsius in Seoul right now, we were also glad that one of Insadong's oldest tea houses is right nearby and we could warm up a bit with a traditionally brewed peppermint tea. Despite the cold, after the exhibition we took a short walk to Gwanghwamun Gate and a very old café that is well-known among BTS fans. Not being a big fan of the KPOP band myself, I was incredibly confused at first when I saw the fan items among all the old books. But with RM's autograph and photo, it goes without saying that many guests and certainly the owner too are ARMYs.
