Most tourists travel to Seoul, Busan or other well-known major cities when they come to South Korea. But have you ever thought about leaving those tourist spots and going to a rural area to experience the real Korea?
If so, I highly recommend Seongju - a small town near Daegu that really has everything you can imagine: Good food, stunning historical site, lots and lots of culture, unique activities like making melon pickles, beautiful nature, authentic Korean markets, heartwarming residents and so much more.
