As a child of the 80s this book speaks to me.
Growing up I had a lot of He-Man toys. My brothers did too, but I had the most. The setting appealed to me much more so than Transformers and GI Joe, toy lines they were both quite avid collectors of. I would imagine it's part of the reason I enjoy the things I do to this day.
What this books does is showcase LITERALLY just about every single toy that was part of the Masters of the Universe toy line, in all the various iterations it existed in. There's SO MUCH CONTENT here. Every time I open this book back up I stumble upon something new.
I love that every aspect of the figure is covered. The box art. The accessories. The figure from every angle and all their special features.
I just wish the figures weren't so expensive! I would have loved to collect some of these but I just can't stomach paying the prices they go for these days for an action figure- we won't talk about how much I'll shell out for an unbuilt, unpainted pile of plastic or resin bits that need to be finished though....
At least this book is a much more economical version of owning all those figures. Although it's probably just as heavy.
Get it here while it's still reasonably affordable (given its massive size)-
