Presentation Switcher Scalers for Courtrooms
Today, I'm talking about switchers. Basically, it's like the back panel of your TV where you plug everything in. And while many projectors have multiple ports at the back, if you're supporting multiple devices or multiple parties, you just might need more ports. That's where a standalone switch comes in.
First, I discuss a 4 port VGA switch, then a 5 port HDMI switch. Finally, I talk about what we use today, which is a 6 port presentation switcher scaler, which not only allows us to accept multiple video source types (such as HDMI and VGA at the same time), but it also outputs a uniform resolution and frame rate no matter what is being sent from your various devices.
