Cabbage ragout with meat
800 gr. white cabbage
600 gr. meat (pork, beef, chicken, lamb)
500 gr. potatoes
3 large carrots
2 medium onions
3 tbsp tomato paste
Salt to taste
1/3 tsp cumin (zira)
1/2 tsp black peppercorns
3 cloves
2 bay leaves
4 tbsp vegetable oil

Recipe for stew with cabbage and meat.

Cut the meat into small pieces, similar to goulash.

Cut the onion into feathers, cut the carrots coarsely, also cut the cabbage coarsely, cut the potatoes into medium pieces.

In a well-heated heavy-bottomed pan, add oil and meat, and fry the meat until golden brown. Add the onion to the fried meat, cook the onion until tender, then add the carrots.

Lightly fry carrots with meat and onions, then add tomato paste. Mix the tomato paste with all the ingredients and fry them together, stirring constantly for about a minute.

After adding the cabbage, mix all the ingredients and add water to them.

Let the water boil, as soon as the cabbage softens slightly in boiling water, add potatoes, spices and spices, cover the pan with a lid and simmer the stew over low heat until the vegetables are fully cooked. After the stew is ready, you can add salt to taste.
