The Minnesota governor hails from a state where nearly 19 percent of primary voters voted “uncommitted” to register their discontent with President Joe Biden’s staunch support for Israel. Walz will address the convention tonight, and it’s unclear whether he will talk about the ongoing conflict — even as the campaign offers olive branches to party members who say it would send a strong message if he does.
