Weed and Feed 101
There are some big things that you need to think about before you buy weed and feed for DIY. #1 Don't put out high nitrogen fertilizer in the Fall on warm season grass. Warm season grass is shutting down in the Fall, not gearing up. #2 Be aware of what weeds you are trying to kill or prevent, otherwise, you likely will be wasting a lot of money just trying to guess at what the product will or will not control. #3 I didn't talk about this in the video, but understand WHEN the targeted weed is going to naturally die. All weeds have life cycles and may be coming to a close at precisely the time you are trying to kill them.
