#1: A dog that is about to bite will have fixed direct eye contact with you.
#2: A stiff body stance with or without a nervous tail wag.
#3: A whale eye expression: A dog shows the white part of its eyes, indicating fear, stress or anxiety.
#4: Growling, low mumbling or barking!
#5: Showing their teeth:
And finally, some dog's may not show any signs at all if they are going to bite!
IF they are in pain and are usually a very friendly dog, they may bite from being painfull!
I have been bit straight out of the BLUE! So make sure to try your best to read the room, when working with dog's, in any situation, as a dog baby sitter, vet tech or vet! Stay safe!
