WHY PUPPIES SCRATCH SO MUCH:
#1. Their new collars or harness around their neck and waste makes them scratch at it.
#2. Puppies can be itchy due to their hair coat changing. It goes from a soft duckling or bunny coat to a coarse hard adult coat as they age and this process can cause them to itch.
#3. Puppies have needle teeth and fight with their siblings that causes itchy scabs!
#4. OKAY the 4th thing is your puppy could be itchy because they are dirty . Puppies living in a litter of 5-10 siblings are impossible to keep super clean so when they go home to you, you may want to give them a bath so they're clean for their fresh start at their new home.
And puppies can get other things that cause them to be itchy and scratch such as some ectoparasites!
Ear Mites or Scabies!
