Travel map animation is a great way to show off your vacation pictures. You can animate any trip - add markers to the cities that you’ve visited, insert pictures, choose a vehicle, route markers, and of course, set up the animation. Let’s see how to make one with SmartSHOW 3D animated map creator:
🔷 Go to the Effects Tab and hit the Travel Map icon 00:20
Start the software and choose New Project. Go to the Effects Tab and double-click on the Travel Map icon. A new window will pop up.

First, select the map. You can pick one from the built-in gallery or upload your own from a file. Zoom in on the map and move it around if needed. Second, double-click on the map to add the markers. Drag the marker with the mouse if you want to move it to another spot. You can add as many points as you want. In the next step, you can change the marker image and set up the route animation. You can also add pictures to the markers. And finally, set up the animation. Once you’ve adjusted the settings, click Next. Select the vehicle and the route image, and hit Done.

Preview your animated travel map. If you want to make changes to your animation, go to the Slide Editor. Find the Travel Map layer and double-click on it. Here you will see the map markers, and can adjust the animation settings and choose different route image elements. Drag the slider to the right or to the left to make the route elements bigger or smaller correspondingly. Preview the final result and save it.
