You can use pre-made titles under the Title tab and pick the one you like. Or create your own by adding a photo to the Storyboard and hitting Edit Slide. Add a background for your text by clicking Add Layer and picking the desired shape. Place it on the photo, change its size and color. Repeat the process to create a shadow effect. To add a message, click Add Layer and choose Animated Text. Pick the animation and style of your text, type it in and adjust its settings.

Go to the Effects tab, pick an effects group, and simply drag the effect you like to the photo. You can also apply animations, for example, a simple pan and zoom effect or others and move to the next step.
