Digital cinemas play back all of their content from a file format known as Digital Cinema Package (DCP). This video gives an overview of the format, along with a demonstration of how to go about creating DCP files from your Pro Tools mixes. I cover the following processes:

This video is aimed at anyone working on lower budget film projects who wish to gain an understanding of how to create a DCP version of the movie which can be loaded onto a cinema server for playback. It is not supposed to be representative of the workflow for a large budget studio released movie.
