In today’s tutorial, I’m going to show you how to find a list of all user accounts on your Windows computer.
Seeing all user accounts on your computer is beneficial for user management, security, access control, auditing, troubleshooting, user support, compliance, and resource allocation. It helps you maintain a secure, well-managed computing environment while ensuring accountability, transparency, and productivity for all users.
To get started with viewing a list of users:
1. Go into the Windows start bar, and type in “Command Prompt”, and click on the “Command Prompt” application to open it up.
2. Once command prompt opens, type in the following command “wmic useraccount get name”, and hit the enter key on your keyboard.
3. A list of all the user accounts on your Windows computer will now be displayed.
4. As you can see, I have several user accounts on my computer.
And it’s as easy as that, getting a list of all user accounts on your Windows computer is a simple task to perform.
