Madeira Day 4: Levada do Caldeirão Verde-on of the best waterfall walks & Sanatana
April 21, Day 4
At 8:30 a.m. we start the hike from the "Parke Florestal" (Caminho do Pico das Pedras) - and not from "Casa Quemadas". This makes the route longer - actually not necessary.
So - a total of 20 km, 7 hours.
Later in the day we drove to the "Roca do Navio" viewpoint - beautiful, but we have already seen many of them during our stay here.
In the evening we drove to the center of Santana town, looked at the "old, traditional houses" and had a nice dinner in the restaurant near the old houses.
