200 ml warm water
200 ml warm milk
2 egg whites (leave the yolks for brushing)
0.5 tsp salt
2 tbsp yeast
4 tbsp sugar
200 ml vegetable oil
750 g flour (you may need a little more)
125 g butter, soft for greasing the dough
Pour milk, water, sugar and yeast into a bowl. Stir to dissolve them.
Add proteins, oil and salt, mix.
Gradually add flour and knead the dough for about 5-6 minutes.
Cover and put in a warm place for 1 hour.
Lightly grease the work surface with oil, lay out the dough and press it with your hands, grease with butter.
Fold the dough lengthwise towards the middle, then brush the dough again with oil and press the dough down with your hands. Brush one half of the dough with butter and cover with the other half.
Cut the dough into strips 10 - 12 pcs.
Stretch each strip a little and fold in half, twist in a spiral and make a pretzel.
Place the buns on a baking sheet, cover and let rest for 20 minutes. Lubricate with yolk, sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for about 20 minutes, until golden brown.
