One of the most powerful men of the Second World War was Joseph Stalin, the Dictator of the Soviet Union but he treated his son Yakov Dzhugashvili awfully. Stalin's son was captured during World War 2 and he was sent to a concentration camp and his father signed his own death sentence by refusing to trade German officers for his own son. Stalin had the chance to save his eldest son but refused to do so out of honour. Because of this Yakov succumbed to his ordeal inside of Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp.
