Bright Falls - Episode 2 - Time Flies [4k Remaster]
Bright Falls was a live action prequel series released on the lead up to Remedy's cult classic Alan Wake, setting the scene - and tone - for the game itself.
With Alan Wake 2 due some point in the next year, I thought it fitting to put my years of experience in video editing and mastering towards rejuvenating this series in never-before-available quality.
4K upscaled with Topaz, from the highest-bitrate 1080p masters available, color corrected scene-by-scene in Resolve to remove most compression artefacts and green shift. The entire pipeline was completed in lossless formats to keep as much quality as possible. Took a few weeks!
While this is not perfect by any means, I am happy with this. Sure it may not be as "clean" as other available upscales, but honestly a bit of grit is what makes it. Gives it a true Twin Peaks vibe as was intended!
