Using the Blob brush tool in Adobe Illustrator can make quick work of filling in large, or small, areas. Unlike the brush tool the blob brush tool creates shapes from your brush strokes. You can quickly combine brush strokes to add to current strokes you've make with this tool or make layered colours with different opacities and effects.
