How To Use The TYPE TOOL In Adobe Illustrator CC 2020
An introduction to the type tool aka - Day 2 in the series 30 different Adobe Illustrator tools in 30 days. We take a high level look at the basic type tool and a few of the options you have available to you. We're not looking at kerning, leading or fonts in this video, just the basic use of the type tool. Make sure you subscribe though as I will be getting more in depth over the coming months on each of these tools.
We're going to be looking at a couple of different ways of placing text on the art board with the type tool as well as some options available for creating columns and rows of text. We'll also look at how to handle text overflow in a text box.
