The Validation Tool for Story Reporting in SAP SuccessFactors People Analytics
People Analytics Story Reporting in SAP SuccessFactors is the successor for legacy reporting tools like ORD, BIRT or YouCalc. It brings improved usability for report / dashboard building as well as for using finished reports.
Even better then building your own story reports is loading ready-to-use ones from the Content Store. However, these pre-configured story reports have been designed for a standard (best practice) configuration of SAP SuccessFactors, which would naturally deviate from the configuration used in your company's instance, so they may just not work there. This is where the validation tool comes in very handy: after importing your new report, you can check it wih the tool to see, where it doesn't fit so you can make teh necessary changes to the report (e.g. removing a column that's using a field not available in your instance).
Of course, you can also use this tool to validate reports you build yourself or those you import from other sources than the content store.
