GBIF: The library of life
Can you imagine how much knowledge could be generated, if people could find and use the Earth's biodiversity data, in an organized and accessible way?
GBIF—the Global Biodiversity Information Facility—is a network of governments and organizations that enables the publication of this data and shares it with the world, making biodiversity information available online to researchers and citizens, regardless of their location.
