PACIFIC OCEAN (April 6, 2017) Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Lake Erie (CG 70) conducts a replenishment-at-sea while underway conducting a composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX) with the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group in preparation for an upcoming deployment. COMPTUEX tests the mission-readiness of the strike group's assets through simulated real-world scenarios and their ability to perform as an integrated unit. 170411-N-MZ078-001
