QUICK & EASY Green Screen Tutorial on DaVinci Resolve 17
I've spent so much time trying to find a quick and easy tutorial on how to add a green screen effect into my Content Marketing Videos.
Decided to make my own to help the community for DaVinci Resolve 17!
Here is an example of my process from start to finish from RAW footage all the way to finished product.
Let's get into it!
Step 1: Drag 3D Keyer effect onto Video file.
Step 2: Change drop down to OpenFX Overlay
Step 3: In Inspector, hit 'Effects' select the far right dropper icon with the + symbol.
Step 4: Draw X's or Lines in areas of greenscreen/colored background
Step 5: Hit 'Despill"
Step 6: Add layered desired background image.
Davinci Resolve is a powerful editing tool used by industry professionals in Hollywood. If you are used to using software's like iMovie, I highly encourage you to try this FREE program out, you will notice the quality and productivity increase tremendously.
