A week filled with good things: picking up timber, firing up the woodoven for the first time, baking pizza, building new friendships, more scraping and sanding window frames, going for a stormy hike, and finally routing the frames to fit double glazing.
We're Isis & Bertus, a belgian-dutch couple. One year ago we moved into a neglected farmhouse in a tiny village in the northwest of Italy. The last inhabitants left some 15 years ago, but large parts of the property have sat empty for well over 20 years.
