Some beekeepers may face the problem of the bees not accepting the new queen that has been introduced to the hive, and this problem may cause the hive to become weak, false mothers to appear, and the hive to collapse, and the beekeeper loses the entire year if he cannot intervene to solve this problem before it is too late.

Have you ever wondered why bees sometimes reject their new queen? In this video, we will take an interesting journey inside the beehive to uncover the secrets behind this strange behavior. We will learn about the factors that affect the acceptance of the queen, such as her smell, age, and the time of her introduction to the hive. We will also talk about the consequences that may result from rejecting the queen, and how beekeepers can deal with this problem.

In this video, I will provide you with some of the main reasons and tips for the bees not accepting the new queen.
The main reasons that cause bees to not accept the new queen are as follows:
1- The smell of the new queen, when you introduce a new queen, the smell or pheromone she secretes is strange to the bees inside the hive, which makes them reject her and kill her,
2- The presence of another queen inside the hive, perhaps you did not notice the presence of a queen inside the hive, so when you introduce the new queen, the bees will reject and kill her.
3- The age of the queen, the age of the queen plays an important role in accepting or rejecting her, if the queen is young or old, the bees will reject her because she does not secrete enough pheromone to attract bees to her
4- The bee breed, there are some breeds that do not accept queens from other breeds, they only want a queen from their breed, so the bees reject the new queen and build royal houses.
5- The conditions of the hive, if there is not enough food and there are not enough brood bees, or if the hive is weak or has a disease, the bees are unable to accept the new queen and cannot feed her, so she dies.
To avoid the bees rejecting the new queen, you must take the following steps:
1- How to introduce the queen: When introducing a new queen, you must orphan the hive for 24 hours. On the second day, you demolish the royal houses built by the bees, and put the queen in the queen cage and add food such as candy or smear the cage with honey. You also put 8 or 10 young workers with her inside the cage from the same hive from which you brought the new queen, and put the cage between two frames with an open brood.
2- Choosing the queen: You must make sure that the new queen is not sick, is not young or old, and is of a good breed.
3- Providing food and the safety of the hive: When introducing a new queen to another hive, you must make sure that the hive has food, is not weak or sick, and has brood bees.
4- Make sure that there is no other queen inside the hive.
5- Add brood frames from other hives to reduce the smell of pheromone inside the hive.
6- Calmness: You must deal with the bees calmly when introducing the new queen.
7- Patience, some bees do not accept new queens in a short time, so you need to monitor the queen well, when you find the bees wanting to take the queen out of the cage or gathering on her and feeding her, open it.

The signs that indicate that the bees have rejected the new queen are that they are building royal houses, and you find them in a state of nervousness, i.e. very fierce
