Zoom is delighted to announce the H6essential. The H6essential is our new flagship Handy Recorder. With dual AD converters, 32-bit float recording, 6 recording tracks, 4 XLR/jack combo inputs and an interchangeable XY microphone capsule that can handle up to 135dB SPL, the H6essential offers unprecedented quality and unmatched versatility. All our new recorders are designed with accessibility for the blind and visually impaired. Navigate the menu with audible descriptions through the built-in speaker or headphones. The H6essential can be used as a 32-bit float audio interface via USB-C on the computer, and you can also record to the internal SD card at the same time. Using the optional BTA-1 Bluetooth adapter, the H6essential can be synchronized via timecode and controlled remotely via the iOS app. The new H6essential is a real powerhouse and therefore perfect for musicians, filmmakers and podcasters. The H6essential will be shipping in Q2 2024.
