Nord Keyboards introduces the Nord Grand 2 at NAMM 2024!
Featuring an intuitive new panel design, a new premium Kawai Triple Sensor Keyboard, an expanded sound engine with 2 independent piano layers and 2 independent sample synth layers with double memory, and a redesigned effects section for each layer, the Nord Grand 2 makes the dream of a perfect stage piano a reality.
The Nord Grand 2 adopts the new layer control concept of the popular Nord Stage 4 and features LED faders for each layer, allowing you to easily create splits or layers of different sounds. Like the Stage 4, the Grand 2 offers an independent, all-new and expanded effects section for each layer. The new, improved and fully weighted Kawai keybed with triple sensors enables precise detection of key pressure and provides exceptional control over the entire dynamic range. Combined with the world-class collection of grand, upright and electric pianos from Clavia's Nord Piano Library and the new "Advanced String Resonance" and "Dynamic Pedal Noise" functions, the Grand 2 provides an even more realistic feel and unsurpassed level of expression. The piano section also features a new unison mode and a dynamic compressor adapted from the Nord Stage 4. The Nord Grand 2 includes the new Triple Pedal 2, which is required for some of the new functions. The Nord Grand 2 will be available from June 2024.
