“It’s not about how much money you make, it’s about how much you save” I believe is how the saying goes. In my case, it took 14 years to save up for my first house. I’m not going to lie. I threw myself a pity party many times along the way – “if only I didn’t live in such expensive cities”, “if only I had a partner”, “if only I had rich parents”, “if only I made more money”.
