Modicum Brewing is re-launching in a new location on the south side of Eau Claire.
In a social media post, Modicum announced they are taking over the K Point Brewing location within The Coffee Grounds. As the brewer at K Point retires, Modicum owner Eric Rytal will be taking the helm.
Modicum Brewing closed in October after they had planned to move from Altoona to the Artisan Forge building on Clairemont. Construction timelines and "various regulatory hurdles" prevented them from opening in the new location, and they had to close their original taproom.
"This new partnership with our friends at The Coffee Grounds is a perfect fit, allowing us to enhance the Modicum Taproom experience with food, wine, spirits, and great atmosphere," the social media post read.
The brewery plans to have a re-launch party on July 9.
