A full review of the Beko Dishwasher Model DIN28R20 Fully Integrated Standard Dishwasher - Stainless Steel
We got this dishwasher as a replacement for our old one. I fitted it myself and found the fitting instructions not the easiest to understand as it is only a series of pictures to follow and no written words to explain what they are telling you. It took a little bit of time to fit but once done I was really happy with the finished result.
The appliance comes with a small starter pack of 2 Finish Dishwashers Tablets, a small bottle of Finish Rinse Aid, Beko Operating Manual and a Hard Water Test Strip, which was handy.
There is upper and lower sliding baskets and both can be altered to accommodate those awkward sized items of cookware. I like the idea that some of the tines (those sticky up wire bits that hold the plates upright) are collapsable to make space for bigger items. The upper basket can even have the height adjusted which can create taller areas in both the upper and lower baskets. There is also accessories for tray washing and the design of the cutlery basket means it can also be easily moved around any area of the bottom basket as well. I found it pretty simple to make the required adjustments to the baskets to suit our own personal needs. You can get a lot in this dishwasher, and although I have not tried it, it takes up to an amazing 13 place settings.
The display is easy to read and will illuminate when turned on. There is 8 wash programmes available which vary from Prewash up to Intensive and we have been using Auto programme which can take over 3 hours to complete but actually for us has been a lot less than that. There is also a Inner Clean programme and Auxiliary Functions such as Half Load, Fast+, TrayWash and SteamGloss. The manual has a nice Programme Table that lists in detail what each programme is for so you will be able to find the most suitable one for you.
One other feature I do like about this dishwasher is that it has a delay timer on it. This means that if you have cheaper electricity at a certain time of day then you can programme it to come on within that time period.
There is a red light that illuminates the floor when a programme is running and goes out when it is finished. There is also a short alarm sound that goes off when the programme is finished.
The build quality of the appliance is good, maybe the plastic feet could be a little bit more robust, but when fitted properly in position it is quite sturdy and is very quiet when running. So far it has done a good job cleaning dishes, cutlery, pots and pans and I don't think I would be without a dishwasher again. I think a bit more clarity in the fitting instructions would be good but it has proved to be a perfect replacement & upgrade and has the added bonus of an A++ energy rating. W Also, with a 2 year warranty, I would have no problems recommending this Beko dishwasher to anyone. I am very satisfied with this appliance.
My dishwasher was delivered from AO.com for review and the delivery service was excellent. I was able to pick my own date, they confirmed that date, I was contacted on the morning of that date with a time slot, I was also contacted later that day with a more accurate time and it was delivered on time right in to my kitchen. Thanks AO.com.
